Cleaning cast iron with electrolysis part 2

This is part of a series on seasoning cast iron cookware.
SAFETY WARNING: This process (electrolysis of water) generates extremely flammable hydrogen gas. Use adequate ventilation, keep away from flame, spark, children, and idiots. There is also a possibility of electrical shock. Read all safety warnings and take appropriate precautions or do not attempt.

Checked on setup at 135 minutes.
Current had dropped down to 2A/minimum reading on my gauge. A thick layer of brown froth had formed above the anode. I turned it off, wiped the anode with my hand (using gloves), and put things back and turned it back on. Current was up to 10A this time. I stopped to check for shorts because before it had been only 6A. I think the cathode might have a better connection now because some corrosion has come off of the negative clamp. The negative clamp looks much nicer now. Anyway, new current while clean is 10A.
